IMMERSION IN NORMANDY’S TRADITIONS AND FLAVORS
Just two hours by train from Paris, Deauville is the perfect destination for a two-day getaway combining tradition and conviviality. On the first day, participants took part in a terrarium workshop, creating their own unique and original mini-ecosystem, followed by a festive dinner accompanied by piano and DJ music.
The next day included a visit to a family-run artisanal calvados distillery housed in a beautiful ensemble of 17th-century half-timbered buildings. A true Norman postcard scene with apple orchards, a manor, and timbered outbuildings… Numerous workshops were on the program: milking a Norman cow, making butter and cream in the traditional way, tasting cheeses from the Pays d’Auge, playing galine (Norman-style pétanque), a creative workshop “Draw Me Normandy,” as well as tours of the aging cellars and tasting of vintage calvados. A stay full of discoveries and flavors!
